Project Summary
Candymon Adventure was a mobile game released in 2015 by Candymon Co. The game invited players into a colorful candy-filled world where they could dodge obstacles, evade enemies, collect candy, and unlock new Candymon characters as they progressed. The original project page describes the game as a mobile adventure centered around eating candy, avoiding bizarre creatures, and unlocking new Candymon over time.
I was commissioned to compose the game’s menu music, gameplay music, and trailer soundtrack, along with non-gameplay trailer sound effects. My role focused on creating an upbeat, playful audio identity that matched the game’s bright visual style, lighthearted premise, and candy-themed world.
For the soundtrack, I leaned into an uptempo, orchestral style that could support quick mobile gameplay and premium graphics. My soundtrack gave the game a fun, playful feel; structured to support repeated listening during gameplay.
Because Candymon Adventure was built around fast movement, collection, and character progression, the music needed to help reinforce the game’s sense of momentum and charm. The goal was to make the experience feel active, colorful, and immediately accessible, while giving the project a distinct musical personality.
Overall, Candymon Adventure represents my work as a mobile game composer and sound designer, creating music and trailer audio for a casual game built around candy, creatures, and light arcade-style adventure.
